Directions to Camp Remote Campground

From I-5
Take the Winston/Wildlife Safari exit.
The exit will automatically turn into the street to Winston.
Follow the street (you'll cross a bridge) and turn right onto highway 42.
Proceed west on Highway 42 until you come to a very little town called Remote.
Just past Remote is Sandy Creek Road.
Turn right onto Sandy Creek Road.
Proceed up Sandy Creek Road.
Stay on Sandy Creek Road until after the 6 mile marker (a little green sign on the right side of the road.)
After the 6 mile marker, the road forks 2 times.
Take the right fork both times. At both forks, there should be a sign that says Camp Remote.
Camp Remote is 1 mile past the 6 mile marker.

Facilities

Facilities available for use include:
* Kitchen and Dining - capacity to serve approximately 100 people
* Outside picnic tables for additional seating
* Dining
* Housing
* Six rustic cabins with wooden bunks - can house up to 12 people per cabin
* Large grassy areas allow tent camping
* Cabins
* Bathing and bathrooms - bathroom facilities have male and female sides with six showers and toilets per side
* Sports and recreation
* Two large grass fields - provide a wonderful area for activities and sports
* Outdoor equipment and meeting areas
* Playground apparatus
* Basketball court
* Horseshoe pit
* Two beautiful worship areas outside under myrtlewood trees
* Fire pit for evening campfires
* Short hiking trails nearby
