congregations most affected by the recent storm in the Pacific Northwest. Congregations
from Neilton, WA to Lincoln City, OR were impacted. In cooperation with the Presiding
Bishopric, we were able to direct $6250 of Oblation Funds to the areas needing the most
help. To supplement that aid, we have created a Mission Center Storm Relief Fund. . .read more or click on the left menu NEWS/MCFO-CFO NEWS

| December 5, 2007 Advent service at the Temple, Decmeber 9th CANCELLED |
Join in the Advent service at the Temple in Independence, Missouri, or via live webcast at www.CofChrist.org on Sunday, December 9 at 7:00 p.m. CST (5:00pm PST). The worship will feature students and staff of the music department of Graceland University. Voices and instruments will fill the Temple with glorious sounds, tunefully celebrating the season with sacred music and carols. For details about tuning in via the Web, visit www.CofChrist.org/broadcast/upcoming.asp.
The Community of Christ Temple Advent worship and live webcast planned for Sunday, December 9, has been cancelled. Severe winter weather in the Midwestern United States has made it unsafe for the Graceland University Music Department to travel from Lamoni, Iowa, to Independence, Missouri, to offer their concert. |
