World Church connections

Our church is in reality connected across continents, countries and time. We share a common goal in Christ and heritage via the history that has occurred. That heritage is related to the Bible, the direct revelation that occurs in our lives from God, direct revelation to us as a group since our restoration as detailed in the Doctrine and Covenants, the Book of Mormon which details God’s concern about those that showed love for God in the Americas.

Prior to 2000 we were known as the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (RLDS). Because of the length of the name and the difficulty in differentiating ourselves from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS) we found the need to shrink the size of the name while keeping essence of the meaning.
