| Many of you know of Kathy and Jeff Bachman's longstanding association with Amnesty International and how that association has been a resource for much of Kathy's work as the Mission Center's Peace and Justice Minister. This year AI's annual meeting is being held in Portland this coming weekend of April 28-30 at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Portland. The meeting kicks off on Friday at 4 p.m. with a rally in Pioneer Square to protest the use of torture in the "War on Terror". Click for a flyer |

| Camp Genesis is a weekend camp for children ages 8-9 or currently in 2nd or 3rd grades held at Samish Island, June 2-4. | Scott Jobe, a Community of Christ sponsored chaplain in the US Air Force, is doing a project on divorce recovery ministry as part of his Doctor of Ministry degree. He is asking divorced members of the Community of Christ throughout the United States to participate in a survey on divorce recovery ministry via the Internet.
